Mask sheets will dry out by the time you wake up the next morning...
But.. we can use a sleeping mask!!

The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is one of the best selling product in the brand!
It contains beta-glucan, Hunza Apricot extracts, recoverine from Chestnuts to provide deep hydration, balance skin tone and remove dead skin cells.
It also contains an aromatic essence known as "Sleepscent" to relax our minds and body

Texture is a light watery gel, light blue in color

I only use this once in awhile since I have so much skincare!
I noticed remarkable results every time I use it...
First I apply toner, then I apply a layer of sleeping pack on my skin
It absorbs super fast! By the time I go to bed, it's half absorbed!
It's not greasy at all, the next morning my face feels fully hydrated and soft
My make up goes on easily and my skin looks betterI noticed it has a magic effect of clearing and minimizing pimples
However, you need to use it ~2x/week to keep the fantastic effect

Someone suggested using it continuously for a week and your skin will become more clear and radiant
It has a very fresh scent.

The price is quite expensive... but duty free stores charge ~$15-17 USD/jar. 
When I bought it in Korea, it was 25000 won each, but 1 jar includes 4 small 20mL samples.. so it's like buy 1 get 1 free

Skinfood Rice Mask

Skinfood's Rice Mask is one of the most popular masks in the brand. It contains a lot of rich nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Back in the ancient times, rice/ rice water were used by females to wash their face. Not only can rice water wash away the oil on the surface of the skin, it also leaves behind a mild and gentle feeling. Rice soothes sensitive skin, prevents dark spots from forming on the surface, and provides a whitening effect.

Instructions: Apply a thick layer onto clean damp skin, massage onto skin lightly (sensitive skin do not massage). Leave on for 10-15 mins and wash with warm water.

My skin feels soft and moisturized, but the whitening effect is not obvious... the rice mask is creamy with bits of rice in it, so one can probably use it as a gentle exfoliator while washing it off. The smell is fresh but also smells ricey.

Compared to other Skinfood masks, the Skinfood Rice Mask works ok... blackheads on the nose weren't visible, but the ones buried deep inside the nose would probably require a bit more assistance. It's quite moisturizing, good for winter.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask

Black sugar contains vitamins, minerals, and natural lemon extract. The Skinfood Black sugar mask can remove dead skin cells gently, stimulate new skin cells so it becomes easier to absorb nutrients in other skincare products. It makes your skin look radiant and it's suitable for normal to dry skin.

The first time I was using it... got a bit confused... is this a scrub or mask?? As I was applying it onto my face, the sugar seems big... I treated it as a mask and applied a thick layer on my face. After 10 mins, I added some water and massage gently so it exfoliates my skin. I washed it off with warm to hot water so the sugar melts. After I am done, my skin feels so soft. But be careful not to scrub too hard, otherwise it might damage your skin.

Not suitable for people with break out (acne skin).

There's absolutely no sugar smell in this mask... but it smells like lemon.. but doesn't fit the name of the product at all... but it does contain lemon extract which helps whiten the skin, making it look radiant.

Instructions: Apply onto damp skin after cleansing, apply a thick layer onto the face (avoid eyes and lip area), wait 10-15 mins, massage while washing it off with warm water.

I would definitely buy this product again. It acts as a good exfoliator and I really love the softness it brings!!

Skinfood Black Sesame Seed Hot Mask

The Skinfood Black Sesame Seed Hot Mask is one of the most popular products in Skinfood.

Contains Vitamin C, proteins, yogurt ingredients, and 100% natural black sesame which provides moisture and nutrients to your skin. 
Black sesame contains charcoal salt and sugar powder, which gives your skin a warm feeling. That's probably why it's known as a "hot" mask. 
It increases blood circulation, opens pores, deeps cleanses, and reduces the formation of black heads.

Very strong black sesame smell! 
I accidentally tasted it and it's so sweet, almost tasted like black sesame paste (dessert). 
It's totally suitable for the winter time since the mask becomes hot right after you applied it onto your face. 
The only thing I don't like about it is that it's a bit runny... if you put too much on your face, it drips down your chin.... but it works as a good exfoliator, cleanses really well. 
My skin is super soft and radiant after using it. 
I'll probably get this product again if I go to Korea.

Instructions: Clean your face and apply mask onto damp skin (avoid eyes and lips area). Massage for 3-5 minutes and wash with warm water.

Etude House Moistfull Massage Mask 3 in 1

Light pink gel, water based and thick in texture
Contains Baobab extract which provides lots of hydration, so you skin looks smooth and soft

1. Massage Gel
wash your face then dry, take a suitable amount, massage on your face for 2-3 mins then wash
you will feel fully hydrated and fresh! massaging onto your face helps your skin to absorb the water moisture better 

2. Hydration mask
wash your face then dry, apply a thick later onto your skin, wash after 10-15 mins
as a hydration mask, this does provide lots of hydration, but it will dry fast... skin feels sticky... I suggest using it as a sleeping mask

3. Sleeping mask
wash your face then dry, apply a thick later onto your skin, go to sleep, wash it off the next morning
good things about it is that the next day, your make up foundation goes on super easy and any pressed powder or dry powder will not be flaky at all



This 3 in 1 mask is highly interesting!!
I combined 1. and 3. together.. massaging only my face and leave on as a sleeping mask
It really feels sooo good!!!
Hydration is very important, if your skin is dry, wrinkles are easy to form!!

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

This is the finest deep cleansing mask I've ever used!!

Just apply a thin later to your face, wait 10 mins and you can wash it off!!

In the past, some of the deep cleansing masks I have tried gives my skin a tight feeling!!
When the masks is dried, it breaks.... then my skin gets dry....
I really like this Volcanic Pore Clay mask!!
My skin feels so clean, soft, no dried and my skin tone becomes better!!
The only thing I have some concerns about is the packaging....
I am scared if I open the jar too much, the mask will get dried easily..
I prefer a tube packaging more.... 

Lancome Hydra-Intense Masque

I always wanted to try Lancome masks, cause their cleansing products are quite good!

But prices aren't cheap... or wait until they have bonus gift

I bought it at the Canada duty free for 50% off, paid $17

The mask contains a light rose scent, thick in texture, water based.

Suitable for any skin type.

For those who uses the mask during winter or have sensitive/dry skin, you'll see much more result!

Hydrating effects are superb! 

My skin acts like a sponge and sucks all the water from the mask

After using it my skin is more moisturised, soft, and fine lines reduced a bit too

I see effects immediately! so you can use it for emergency purposes such as before a date!

You can also use it before make up, it will help your make up stick to your face better and won't look flaky....

First, wash your face, dry, then apply a thick layer of mask on your face

leave it on for ~10-15 mins then wash off

Use it 2x/week and your skin will look fully hydrated!!

Tony Moly Tomatox Brightening Mask

I was attracted by the tomato from first sight!
Tony Moly has a few products in the shape of a fruit ~
Creamy in texture, refreshing, but no tomato scent...
I tried it on my hand but it feels itchy... using it on my face it fine though...
I suggest you try it on a tester first before buying it....
just in case you have any allergic reactions!

Wash and dry your face
Put a thick layer of tomato mask on for ~15 mins
Use a tissue to wipe it off, no need to wash
You will see immediate results which can last 1-2 days
I suggest you use it a few hours before any big important dates.

Since it contains oxygen, it creates an immediate whitening effect
When I applied it onto my face, I feel some kind of reaction (like oxygen bubbles) penetrating into my skin 
It is a big itchy....
It contains red particles that look like strawberry seeds
If you press a bit harder, the red particles will melt
so far I am not so sure what they are for
In conclusion, this mask provides emergency whitening effects
If you want whitening effects long term, you need to use whitening products every day

Shiseido Naturgo White Clay Mask

This is the most effective whitening mask I have ever used~~
I am almost finishing up my 2nd tube !!
Ingredients include natural white clay from the Alps in Italy, Toscana natural spring water and Saxifrage essence.
It does such a good job removing impurities, brightening up dull and tired skin~

The white clay just sucks all the melanin (black substance) away
I look so healthy, clean and brightened afterwards!!! 
You will see effect immediately!!
Gentle texture, easy to wash and easy to spread

Contains micro white clay particles which can penetrate into the deep layers of your skin, removing impurities and aging skin. The natural minerals can help sooth wrinkles, making your skin look healthy and bright.

It also contains a numerous amount of hydrating particles

so you are cleansing and using skincare at the same time

some people do find their skin a bit transparent too after using it~~

A lot of wash off masks will dry your skin, but this one won't
I feel like doing a SPA afterwards ~~
