The light blue jelly is used as a night moisturizer 
It spreads easily and melts into your skin !!
It smells sweet (like a fruit), hey it can give you a sweet dream =)
You just need 1-2 pumps and it's enough to cover the entire face

Our skin goes through a repairing cycle at night time
This process uses a lot of water and nutrients
I do not find that just using this product alone, is enough for the repairing cycle
I usually use it as a base at night then follow with another thicker moisturizer on top
You could just try using this one and see how you feel.. everyone is different

However, I recommend you to use it during winter time and at NIGHT only
I tried using this product during the summer time and it's a little too much..
It feels a little greasy...

This product does contain alcohol...
So.. you might want to consider before trying it
Those with sensitive skin should definitely try the tester or get a sample before buying

Biotherm Aquasource 48h Deep Hydration Replenishing Cream

Hydration is necessary for everyone living anywhere with any skin type !

This Biotherm Gel cream is one of my favourite items that I must have on my shelf.
The green line is for normal combination skin while the pink line is for normal to dry skin.
Biotherm claims that this product can keep you hydrated for 48 hrs and that it contains no preservatives.



The price keeps on going up however...
In the States, it was $36 in Nov 2013, then now it's $47 !!
Maybe the price increased due to foreign exchange currency? 

There are a few ways how I like to use this product..

1) as a night cream gel (skin care), as a day time moisturizer, it is sometimes still too much for me

2) as a primer before I apply my make up -- having a layer of hydrated skincare helps your foundation stick onto your face much better!!

3) mix it with some foundation, the ratio should be 1 to 1, then apply it onto your skin, telling yourself that you are applying skincare and not foundation, this creates a natural and sheet look which sticks very well to your face. I took a bit of Biotherm Aquasource 48h Deep Hydration Replenishing Cream mixed with a bit of MAC Fixed Fluid SPF 15. The result is great!! It's very easy to spread and very hydrating. My make up is not too thick, not too thin, of course I followed with loose powder so my make up lasts longer. 

It smells refreshing, feels great and it is non-greasy too!!

Biotherm Aquasource Deep Serum

60mL, $50 CAD

This is one of Biotherm's new products !!
They had a similar one long long time ago, known as Aquasource Gel, but it was discontinued
The Aquasource Gel was very light and it's suitable for day time
The Deep Serum is somewhat similar, but it's a little thicker in texture
It contains thermal plankton, a substance found in hot springs

It also contains micro pearls to help improve brightness physically
However, oily skin people would probably want to stay away from products with pearls.. yeah.. as if your face is not shiny enough you need something to bring it out even more...

My skin stays deeply hydrated and it feels good under make up
The smell is refreshing and it is non-greasy
I usually follow the serum with a moisturizer, but I find it not really necessary
This serum itself can serve as a moisturizer
With another moisturizer on top, it might feel a little heavy

Overall, I would say that this is a lovely product and I will for sure go for seconds !!

Mioggi HexAqua Plus Luminous Hydrator & Mioggi Hex Idealist Smoothing Cover BB Cream

I purchased this set from HK for $398 HKD.

Mioggi HexAqua Plus Luminous Hydrator can be used as a primer or a light moisturizer to give your skin hydration. If you pat it, you will see water drops. 

Using a light gel or hydrator helps your make up stay on longer.

You will use this after your have applied your UV protector.

However, I find that this is the same stuff as my favourite hand cream, Organic Olive Water Drop Essence Hand Cream

Considering it's similar stuff, this is quite expensive....

The Mioggi Hex Idealist Smoothing Cover BB Cream gives a natural (light coverage).

If you have dark eye circles, dark spots or acne scars, please use a concealer
This BB cream can only cover ~30%

Color is a bit grey
It doesn't have oil control and my T-zone shines after a few hours.

 

I recommend following with a loose powder
Somehow this BB cream doesn't last too long on the face... maybe because coverage is so light?

Overall, I am not too happy with this set.

H2O Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment

Ingredients﹕ Sea Mineral Complex, Sea Fennel, Lavender, Vitamin C, Wakame, Vitamin A, Sea Lettuce, Provitamin B

When this product first launched, it's a big hit in Asia, also known as "8 cups of water" for your face.
Suitable for any type of skin.

Two uses:
1. as a moisturizer - apply directly on your face after toner and serum
2. as a hydration mask - wash & dry your face, apply a thick layer on your skin, wait 5-10 mins and wipe off with a tissue

For those who have dry skin, this provides perfect hydration! 
If you find it not moisturizing enough, you can use it as a base and apply another layer of moisturizer on top.  However, for the 2nd layer, you don't want to apply something thick...
I have normal to oily skin and find this a bit sticky.. so I prefer to use it as a hydration mask.



H2O does have a Face oasis Shine-Neutralizing Gel just for oily skin 
The price is way cheaper in the States =)
