Avocado is considered to be a moist fruit rich in Vitamin A, D, E, proteins and avocado oil. It's super easy to be absorbed, helps recover softness and elasticity in your skin, and reduce fine lines.

Same as the toner and emulsion, it smells like berry (very fruity). After using the mask sheet, there's a thin layer of oil left behind, I guess that's avocado oil, leaving my face moisturized.

During this time, our skin absorbs better.
That's why night cream contains more nutrients and functions to help supplement the process!
Sometimes just using a night moisturizer isn't enough... 
We wanna use a mask overnight!
Mask sheets will dry out by the time you wake up the next morning...
But.. we can use a sleeping mask!!

The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is one of the best selling product in the brand!
It contains beta-glucan, Hunza Apricot extracts, recoverine from Chestnuts to provide deep hydration, balance skin tone and remove dead skin cells.
It also contains an aromatic essence known as "Sleepscent" to relax our minds and body

Texture is a light watery gel, light blue in color

I only use this once in awhile since I have so much skincare!
I noticed remarkable results every time I use it...
First I apply toner, then I apply a layer of sleeping pack on my skin
It absorbs super fast! By the time I go to bed, it's half absorbed!
It's not greasy at all, the next morning my face feels fully hydrated and soft
My make up goes on easily and my skin looks betterI noticed it has a magic effect of clearing and minimizing pimples
However, you need to use it ~2x/week to keep the fantastic effect

Someone suggested using it continuously for a week and your skin will become more clear and radiant
It has a very fresh scent.

The price is quite expensive... but duty free stores charge ~$15-17 USD/jar.

Innisfree Real Olive Hand Mask

This was a Gift with Purchase when you spend 30,000 won
This is so far the 10th item I have tried in this line.
I am in LOVE with the Innisfree Olive Line !! 

Th hand glove mask is made with non-woven fabric which effectively locks water moisture to your skin and at the same time, enable your skin to breathe.

First, wash and dry your hands, put on the non-woven hand mask just like how you would put on gloves.
Make sure your skin is in contact with the mask, cause the size of the glove is quite big, so there may be  spaces in between.
Put on the plastic gloves so the essence from the hand mask wouldn't evaporate
Wait ~15 mins and meanwhile you can watch TV =)
My hands feel moisturized afterwards!
It can last for 1-3 days

Skinfood Rice Mask

Skinfood's Rice Mask is one of the most popular masks in the brand. It contains a lot of rich nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Back in the ancient times, rice/ rice water were used by females to wash their face. Not only can rice water wash away the oil on the surface of the skin, it also leaves behind a mild and gentle feeling. Rice soothes sensitive skin, prevents dark spots from forming on the surface, and provides a whitening effect.

Instructions: Apply a thick layer onto clean damp skin, massage onto skin lightly (sensitive skin do not massage). Leave on for 10-15 mins and wash with warm water.

My skin feels soft and moisturized, but the whitening effect is not obvious... the rice mask is creamy with bits of rice in it, so one can probably use it as a gentle exfoliator while washing it off. The smell is fresh but also smells ricey.

Compared to other Skinfood masks, the Skinfood Rice Mask works ok... blackheads on the nose weren't visible, but the ones buried deep inside the nose would probably require a bit more assistance. It's quite moisturizing, good for winter.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask

Black sugar contains vitamins, minerals, and natural lemon extract. The Skinfood Black sugar mask can remove dead skin cells gently, stimulate new skin cells so it becomes easier to absorb nutrients in other skincare products. It makes your skin look radiant and it's suitable for normal to dry skin.

The first time I was using it... got a bit confused... is this a scrub or mask?? As I was applying it onto my face, the sugar seems big... I treated it as a mask and applied a thick layer on my face. After 10 mins, I added some water and massage gently so it exfoliates my skin. I washed it off with warm to hot water so the sugar melts. After I am done, my skin feels so soft. But be careful not to scrub too hard, otherwise it might damage your skin.

Not suitable for people with break out (acne skin).

There's absolutely no sugar smell in this mask... but it smells like lemon.. but doesn't fit the name of the product at all... but it does contain lemon extract which helps whiten the skin, making it look radiant.

Instructions: Apply onto damp skin after cleansing, apply a thick layer onto the face (avoid eyes and lip area), wait 10-15 mins, massage while washing it off with warm water.

I would definitely buy this product again. It acts as a good exfoliator and I really love the softness it brings!!

Skinfood Black Sesame Seed Hot Mask

The Skinfood Black Sesame Seed Hot Mask is one of the most popular products in Skinfood.

Contains Vitamin C, proteins, yogurt ingredients, and 100% natural black sesame which provides moisture and nutrients to your skin. 
Black sesame contains charcoal salt and sugar powder, which gives your skin a warm feeling. That's probably why it's known as a "hot" mask. 
It increases blood circulation, opens pores, deeps cleanses, and reduces the formation of black heads.

Very strong black sesame smell! 
I accidentally tasted it and it's so sweet, almost tasted like black sesame paste (dessert). 
It's totally suitable for the winter time since the mask becomes hot right after you applied it onto your face. 
The only thing I don't like about it is that it's a bit runny... if you put too much on your face, it drips down your chin.... but it works as a good exfoliator, cleanses really well. 
My skin is super soft and radiant after using it. 
I'll probably get this product again if I go to Korea.

Instructions: Clean your face and apply mask onto damp skin (avoid eyes and lips area). Massage for 3-5 minutes and wash with warm water.

Etude House Moistfull Massage Mask 3 in 1

This was from the Cream + Massage mask set I bought for $9 USD  

Light pink gel, water based and thick in texture
Contains Baobab extract which provides lots of hydration, so you skin looks smooth and soft
It also has calming and soothing effects for sun tanned skin...

1. Massage Gel
wash your face then dry, take a suitable amount, massage on your face for 2-3 mins then wash
you will feel fully hydrated and fresh! massaging onto your face helps your skin to absorb the water moisture better 

2. Hydration mask
wash your face then dry, apply a thick later onto your skin, wash after 10-15 mins
as a hydration mask, this does provide lots of hydration, but it will dry fast... skin feels sticky... I suggest using it as a sleeping mask

3. Sleeping mask
wash your face then dry, apply a thick later onto your skin, go to sleep, wash it off the next morning
good things about it is that the next day, your make up foundation goes on super easy and any pressed powder or dry powder will not be flaky at all



This 3 in 1 mask is highly interesting!!
I combined 1. and 3. together.. massaging only my face and leave on as a sleeping mask
It really feels sooo good!!!
Hydration is very important, if your skin is dry, wrinkles are easy to form!!

Skinfood Black Raspberry Saeng-gi Essence Mask

According to the instructions, this mask contains 12 differents kinds of medicinal herbs, jayangboeumdan and cheongyeondan to supply nutrients to your skin. The mask sheet itself it made with superior cotton. Although it contains many tiny holes, its rate of penetration into your skin is high! increasing the rate of absorption. It also contains hydrolauronic Acid which increases and locks moisture to your skin.

I took the mask from the bag and noticed that it's not white... the colour is a bit brown... that's probably the color of the essence

Very strong Chinese medicine smell, but it doesn't annoy me~ it doesn't stink...

There's lots of essence in the mask, enough for the face, arms, legs.... or you can even put it back into the original packaging, put it in the fridge and use it for a second time.

Skinfood Cucumber Mask Sheet

This sheet mask is available in Korea and Taiwan and not available in Hong Kong.

Cucumber contains Vitamin A, B1, B2, C, Chlorophyll, Vitamins and water. It works really well providing a rich water supply to the skin. If you ever feel too dehydrated, the cucumber sheet mask will definitely help recover the loss of moisture on your skin. Mild and gentle, smells really fresh.

Suitable for all skin types (even sensitive skin) and it's super hydrating. I used it once after I was under the sun for a few hours and my face totally sucked all the moisture out from the mask. It also brings a soothing effect. It even works better if you put it in the fridge being using it to give a cooling effect. Cold mask can also reduce pore sizes.

Skinfood Honey & Royal Jelly Mask Sheet

Contains honey and royal jelly. Honey helps firm your skin, stimulates cell regeneration, increases blood circulation and also has sanitizing and calming effect. Honey contains sugar, glucose, proteins, vitamin B1, B6, C and etc... The Zine and Magnesium in it makes your skin look radiant.

The packaging is quite elegant and price is just great~ It only costs ~$1.35 USD, but it sells for 3-4x as much in Hong Kong....

The sheet mask contains a lot of royal jelly essence, I put it on for 30 mins and the next day my skin is so soft!! I just love royal jelly, it feels so natural!

Skinfood Snow Tea Sheet Mask

Its function sounds great, but smells like perfume... gees I feel like I am using a perfume mask on my face.... and yet this is one of the most popular sheet mask in Skinfood...

THE FACE SHOP Aqua Drop Sleeping Pack

I bought this from THE FACE SHOP cause I was attracted to the words "aqua drop"

I thought it was nothing special, but just a sleeping mask
When I squeezed it out, the mask was a half transparent mixture, a little bit cool....

it should be some very special mask!!

If you pat it on your skin, you'll see water drops!!! 

I love water drop products~~

This is such a special sleeping pack~

so from now on when I sleep, my skin can keep "drinking" water too!!

1 tube only contains 70 mL... I used it a few times and there's only half a tube left.... 

Next time I go to Korea I have to buy a few more ~~~

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

In the past, some of the deep cleansing masks I have tried gives my skin a tight feeling!!
When the masks is dried, it breaks.... then my skin gets dry....
I really like this Volcanic Pore Clay mask!!
My skin feels so clean, soft, no dried and my skin tone becomes better!!
The only thing I have some concerns about is the packaging....
I am scared if I open the jar too much, the mask will get dried easily..
I prefer a tube packaging more....

The first time I used it, I thought it was a dry sticker...
but after some investigation... the surface of the mask is dry
the other side (bottom) has a layer of icy jelly-like essence
the "coldness" helps to refresh and cools your eyes
after applying for ~15 mins, my eye area feels so cold!!
the layer of essence looks obviously thinner
my eyes are not as tired
for best results, I recommend using for at least 1 week, 7 days in a row

DHC has a similar eye mask which costs ~$10 USD for 6
not that expensive, but I still like this one more
