Sulwhasoo Snowise EX Whitening Eye Treatment

Snowise EX Whitening Eye Treatment
15mL, $58

The price is ok, I've seen eye creams that range from $75 - $125.. like Lancome and Shiseido
I think they call this an eye treatment because there's a metal tip applicator that helps to massage and relieve tired eyes
I've noticed many brands having this applicator now, if not metal, then it's plastic.. their purpose serves the same, to help massage your eye area
Dior has a whitening eye cream too but it's ~$75
So for whitening eye cream, this one is quite reasonable

The cream is white and creamy in texture
It's quite thick, so don't apply too much

I had been using sample packets, because 1) I sell them, 2) they are more economical and 3) more clean.
Each packet is 1-1.5mL and lasts a few days
Just in case I need to switch to another eye cream for a few days, I am not pressured to come back to this one soon
I had been using this quite regularly during the day time and some nights
I do feel that my eye area became more brightened in terms of color tone
It won't remove your dark eye circles immediately though... it will reduce it significantly

Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream

Usually eye creams are ~15mL in size, but this one is 25g.
I bought it in THE FACE SHOP in Canada for $7 CAD!!
That was on Boxing Day =)

The Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream helps to whiten, brighten and reduce wrinkles in the eye area.

There are a few major ingredients that provides the effects...
Snail secretion filtrate - contains antioxidants and proteins which aid in wound healing and acne scars
Hyaluronic acid - hydrates and maintains water in your skin
Niacinamide - lightens hyperpigmentation
Meadowfoam seed oil - moisturizes and strengthens the skin barrier

The texture is a bit sticky, this applies to all "Snail" products...
but when you apply it on your skin, it absorbs fast.
Take a dab and pat it on the upper and lower part of your eyes
Do not put anything around 0.5cm of the eye area
After using this eye cream for ~6 weeks, I start to see fine lines disappearing
For major wrinkles, please don't expect this eye cream can make them go away

My eye area also brightened up a bit, it seems to have more.. radiance!
To keep seeing the effect, you have to use it on a daily basis

The problem with this eye cream is that once you started using it, you must use it till it's finished...
I was about half done, then I went to try something else...
after several weeks, I came back to this product and it starts to get dried up
texture was thicker than before...
at the end it got to a point that I had to throw it away...

H2O Eye Oasis Moisture Replenishing Treatment

Eye Oasis™ Moisture Replenishing Treatment

15 mL ($24 USD, $34 CDN)

Ingredients﹕ Sea Fennel, Provitamin B, Vitamin A, Zea Mays Extract, Wakame, Vitamin E, Sea Lettuce

Hydration around the eye areas is extremely important!

Having enough hydration keeps fine lines away!
Just using the Eye Oasis by itself is not enough for me...
so I use it as a base and follow with another eye cream on top..
such as one for whitening or anti-aging/ fine lines
as long as it's not too thick, otherwise I will break out

Just like the H2O Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment, you can use it as a mask as well!

Apply a thick layer around the eye area, wait 10 mins and wipe off with a tissue
Using it as a mask prior to make-up helps your make up stay on your face better!!

Skinfood Black Raspberry Eye Cream

25g, 15900 won, 980 NT

I bought this on Ebay, it was marked up another 50% or more... but I can't wait to try this since I started to get fine lines around my eyes!

Black Raspberry is grown wild in Korea. It contains Vitamin A, C, minerals and other nutrients. It can increase the level of water contained in your skin, improve skin texture, improve elasticity, prevent wrinkles and dark spots.

This eye cream contains black raspberry + another 12 different herbs. It does not irritate your skin but contains a lot of nutrients... I had a feeling that it's probably too much for the eyes?

I used it for ~4 months, fine lines around my eyes did reduce... but this eye cream is so moisturizing... more suitable for people who live in dry areas like Canada or to be used during Winter time... creamy thick texture, definitely not suitable for people who lived in hot climate areas, I am scared if you used it, you might break out around your eyes.. also if you work overtime a lot, this product is suitable for you, it works as a barrier to prevent the loss of moisture around your eyes.

LUKE Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patch

Each packet contains 5 pc, ~2000-3000 won in total

Ingredients: Vitamin A, C, E

Vitamin A - stimulates cell repair, increases production of collagen, improves skin texture, skin tone, refine pores
Vitamin C - helps in the production of collagen, prevents lines and wrinkles, moisturizes, brightens skin
Vitamin E - provides anti-oxidant

it feels sooo cool after applying it under my eyes
suitable for those with dark eye circles, tired eyes or those who just cried and had red swollen eyes

The first time I used it, I thought it was a dry sticker...
but after some investigation... the surface of the mask is dry
the other side (bottom) has a layer of icy jelly-like essence
the "coldness" helps to refresh and cools your eyes
after applying for ~15 mins, my eye area feels so cold!!
the layer of essence looks obviously thinner
my eyes are not as tired
for best results, I recommend using for at least 1 week, 7 days in a row

DHC has a similar eye mask which costs ~$10 USD for 6
not that expensive, but I still like this one more

Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick

9g, 6000 won

I wasn't even intending to buy this one... but I need to make my purchase 100,000 won in order to get the gift... the salesgirl said this is an excellent hydrator for my eye area

There's 2 ways to use this:

1. use it as an eye moisturizer -- wash your face, apply toner then the 24 Eyes Stick

2. use it any time when your eye area feels dried, tired, exhausted

I like to apply it at the middle of the day when my eye area gets tired from working....
it feels ice coldl!! so if you are tired, it refreshes and wakes you up!
The eye stick is small and convenient, easy to apply
It also provides emergency uses!!
for example, if you just cried, did not get enough sleep, has huge eye puffs, the ice cold eye stick helps reduce your swollen eyes

The price of 6000 won is just great!! works out to be ~$5.5 USD
Vichy also has one, "Aqualia Antiox Anti-Fatigue Ice-Effect Eye Stick"
same size and they sell for ~$22-25....

Innisfree White Tone Up Eye Serum

30 mL, 20000 won

Ingredients include Mulberry, Brazilian berry, blueberry, western snow fruit, Vitamin B3, grape seed oil, all ingredients are 100% natural!!

This isn't an eye cream, it's an eye serum, so you'll need to use an eye cream on top of it for the serum to function properly ~~

Mulberry + Vitamin B3 prevents melanin from forming, improves dark eye circles and fine lines and hydrates your skin.  Grape seed oil contains whitening and hydrating particles that can also help to get rid of dead skin cells.

Same as the other products in the line, this one also contains no paraben, no artificial fragance, no mineral oil, no ethnol, no artificial colors, no animal ingredients and no benzophenone.

I love the size!! Most eye products are only 15mL, but this one has double the size!! 30mL which will last like 1/2 year!! The pumping design is convenient to use and clean. I don't really like eye cream in a jar where I have to dip my finger in there everyday....

The texture is not too thick and not too thin! Suitable for any weather. I used it for 3 weeks and have already seen good results. There are little particles in the serum that can help lighten dark eye circles. This is by far one of the eye products that actually works for me!
